Criminal Justice and Security

The curriculum for the B.S. in Criminal Justice Systems provides students interested in law enforcement, criminal law, corrections and human service-related fields with an interdisciplinary study of crime and justice in American society. Students will examine the criminal justice process and its key components, along with contemporary issues such as ethics, juvenile justice, social conflict and alternatives to incarceration.

The program is designed for adults looking to enhance their career opportunities with current employers and for adults who seek entry into criminal justice career fields. Emphasis is placed on developing a practical, working knowledge of criminal law and procedures.
